Whitney AnthonyWhitney Anthony graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in performance studies, as a recipient of the Hollywood Scholarship, before moving to Los Angeles where she worked on a variety of commercials, sets and TV shows. Whitney now lives in Raleigh and is the owner/founder of VOW Creative, a video production and creative consulting company. She also runs a self-improvement blog, www.vehicleofwisdom.com, which has almost 10,000 subscribers from around the globe. Whitney is passionate about the performing arts and helping others to manifest the power of performance in their own lives.

Michelle CorbittMichelle Corbitt has been performing improv for almost 7 years and teaching for 3 at ComedyWorx in Raleigh . She enjoys performing, directing and writing. Michelle has been a preschool teacher for 11 years and is excited to work with the students at RLT.

Johannah Maynard Edwards received her B.F.A from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She spent 8 years in NY working and training as a director, designer, playwright and performer. Her professional experience includes creating and producing many original devised works for the stage.

Dorothy FinielloDorothy Finiello is a professional artist specializing in visual art including illustration, watercolor, acrylics, tempera, murals, sculpture, weaving, collage and batiks. She is the owner of "The Good Little Artist" art services and is the Visual Art Teacher for Johnston County Schools.

Susan Comer FisherSusan Comer Fisher is a proud native of North Carolina and has had the opportunity to study, perform and teach music, theater and dance across the country. She believes passionately in the importance of the arts to empower and inspire youth and has experience in training and working as a Facilitator of Theater of the Oppressed, with students with special needs and a creator of devised work. Most recently, Susan was the Arts Education Specialist for Arlington Public Schools where she worked to ensure all students had access to the magic of the arts. She is also a proud alum of Northwestern University and New York University.

Edward FreemanEdward Freeman trained and apprenticed at HB Studio in New York after studying theatre arts at ECU, and also trained at the Mary Anthony Dance Studio and The Studio in New York. He is an alumnus of RLT's youth program and is always grateful to have grown up in the Raleigh theatre community.

Susan HillSusan Hill is a veteran teacher of Dance in the Wake County Public Schools. Sue is a Jersey girl at heart, but enjoys calling NC home. Sue has danced in NJ, NY, PA, VA, NC, SC and abroad. She has a passion for dance, artistry and helping students develop their creativity through dance and movement. Sue really enjoys working with the students at RLT. Let's get ready to move!

Barbette HunterBarbette Hunter holds a BA in Speech/Communications from NCSU with post graduate training in acting at UNC-G. She has earned three performance awards and two technical theatre awards from RLT. She is a 30 year volunteer at RLT. She has been a member of the Youth Education faculty for more than a decade.  

Naima Yetunde Ince is a spoken word artist who has a BA in Drama Studies and attended SUNY Purchase College where she honed her theatrical skills with focuses as playwright, director and stage manager. Naima has a M.PS (Masters of Professional) in Arts and Cultural Management from Pratt Institute. She has significant accomplishments within the New York City area as a performance poet and also produces and directs theatrical works. A recent resident of Raleigh, Naima recently directed an original one act play entitled Men Always Leave produced by The First Annual Women's Theater Festival summer of 2016.

Rob JenkinsRob Jenkins teaches drama for WCPSS in a K-5 creative arts and science elementary magnet school. He has worked for many theatre companies in the triangle and has been presented with three Cantey awards here at RLT!

Duncan JennerDuncan Jenner joined the RLT team in early April, after a three year hiatus from the theatre community. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Salem State University in Salem, Massachusetts, and has worked at several theatres in the greater Boston area, including the North Shore Music Theatre, the Wellesly College Theatre, and the Stoneham Theatre. He has also enjoyed working with the young adults of the Boston Children’s Theatre, as well as an opportunity to be a guest lecturer at Salem State University. Duncan is excited to be back in the arts, and to be here at Raleigh Little Theatre.

Yvonne KochYvonne Koch is an elementary music specialist for WCPSS. She has taught music to children around the globe, including students in India and Israel. Yvonne has performed with the vocal ensemble, Encore Singers, and directed music for several RLT productions.  

Suzi LandisSuzi Landis is a certified Grade II Cecchetti ballet teacher. She has been teaching all ages of ballet, tap and jazz for 20+ years in the Triangle area. She currently teaches primary and youth ballet at City Ballet and is a teaching artist for North Carolina Arts in Action, where she teaches 16-week residencies for area public school fourth graders. In addition, Ms. Landis has been a contributing writer to Dance Teacher Magazine and Dance Spirit Magazine. She is a North Carolina native with a degree in Communications and a minor in Dance from Appalachian State University.

Alison LawrenceAlison Lawrence is an award winning actress/singer/director and full time voice teacher. Many of her students have gone on to successful careers (Clay Aiken, Frankie Muniz, Evan Rachel Wood) as well as being accepted into some of the most prestigious colleges and universities. She has been teaching voice for over 25 years and volunteering onstage & backstage for RLT just as long...most recently onstage as Stepmama in Cinderella.

Laura LevineLaura Levine is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a B.S. in Theatre Arts Education K-12 and a proud alumna of the RLT Youth Education Program! Laura currently works as the theatre arts teacher at Apex High School. Recent credits include Rozelle in OPQRS, Etc. (RLT) and Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Seed Art Share).

  

Susan MeyerSusan Meyer  studied theatre at Western Carolina University and has taught classes and camps at RLT for over nine years. She has worked with special needs children for many years and believes in adapting her classes to the specific needs of each student in those classes. Susan was in the original cast of RLT’s Cinderella in 1984 and again in 2002. Susan also was recognized as 2nd Runner-Up in our big RLT fundraiser event Divas! 2015.

Lauren MillerLauren Miller is a recent graduate of East Carolina University majoring in Theatre for Youth. In her time at ECU, she was in a variety of shows including Schoolhouse Rock Live, A Little Prince, and The Velveteen Rabbit. This is her second year teaching at Raleigh Little Theatre, and she couldn't be more thrilled!

Fonda MuhammadFonda K. Muhammad is a native of New York and has been teaching middle school English and theater for more than 25 years. She has a Master of Science in Education and is a Nationally Certified Classroom Management Specialist. Fonda brings with her a wealth of theater knowledge and passion, which enables her students to confidently embrace their characters on stage.

Joel Rainey brings to RLT more than 30 years of Theatre experience including roles such as Valjean, Scrooge, Juan Peron in Evita, Bill Sikes, and Daddy Warbucks to name a few. Joel holds Masters Degrees in Acting and Directing from LSU and B.G.S.U. In the fall, he will be heading the Theatre Dept. at Broughton High School. Joel has directed more than 50 productions, many with his wife Paige, and has had the privilege of working with Terry Mann, Hal Linden, Paul Sorvino and Cece Winans.

Paige RaineyPaige Rainey is excited to be teaching for Raleigh Little Theatre. Her background includes working for the Disney Company at MGM Studios and directing and choreographing numerous productions at the High School and Middle School level.

Kathleen RudolphKathleen Rudolph  has been working with the Raleigh Little Theatre Education Program for 20 years. She has a BA in Communications and Theatre, with post-graduate training from Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and Herbert Berghof Studios in New York. Besides being a theatre instructor, Kathleen is an actor, acting coach and director. Recent directing credits include OPQRS, Etc., Plaza Suite, Ho Ho Ho The North Pole Chronicles, North Pole Star, The Velveteen Rabbit and The Dining Room.  This season, Kathleen is directing Miss Nelson Is Missing! at RLT and Don't Dress For Dinner at The Halle Cultural Arts Center in Apex.

Sue ScarboroughSue Scarborough is a theatre artist and educator. She is the founder of Teen Co, Improv Company, Raleigh Creative Costumes, North Carolina Theatre Arts Educators and The Playworks Project. Some favorite shows she has directed are Return to the Forbidden Planet, Hamlet, Bat Boy, Crucible, Twelfth Night and Nicholas Nicely. Recent projects include directing Midsummer Night’s Dream in the Rose Garden, Moving Pieces 1&2 that moved around downtown Raleigh and Emilie, La Marquise Du Chatalet Defends Her Life Tonight about a forgotten 18th century math/science genius. 

Elizabeth SeatonBeth Seaton has been teaching dance at Ligon GT Magnet School for the past 5 years and directs the Ligon Dance Company. She has taught for 14 years in Wake and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Counties. Ms. Seaton has over twenty five years of teaching and performing experience from City Ballet in Raleigh to Dance and Arts Showcase in Atlanta.

Annette StoweAnnette Stowe has performed with opera companies in North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, and Hawaii. She is a member of AGMA and the Actors' Equity Association, and is the current voice chair for the North Carolina Music Teachers' Association. In 2014, she began a classical concert series in partnership with the Halle Cultural Arts Center in Apex, NC. She currently maintains a voice studio in Fuquay-Varina.

Jacob TimmonsJacob Timmons has been a part of the RLT family for over 8 years as a student, actor, TA, instructor, AD and ASM. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with his BFA in Theatre Education and is currently studying at Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre in Blue Lake, CA..

Jason Tyne-ZimmermanJason Tyne-Zimmerman is the theatre teacher at Longleaf School of the Arts where he directs high school students in challenging material such as Saint Joan, Metamorphoses, and The Bald Soprano. Outside of Longleaf he has directed for Forest Moon Theatre, Carrboro Arts Center, and Cary Playwrights. Acting credits at Raleigh Little Theatre include A Year with Frog and Toad, The Rivals, Macbeth and Much Ado about Nothing. Jason earned his MFA in Directing from Northwestern University and his MA in Educational Theatre from NYU.

Renee WimberleyRenee Wimberley is an actor, director, producer, and teaching artist throughout the Triangle. She began performing at RLT as a 5thgrader and has been part of the Youth Education team since 1997. She is also the Creative Director of Seed Art Share and frequently teaches and directs for Applause! Cary Youth Theatre. BA Theatre Arts Ed. UNCG.
